This Elan S3 finished in Sprint livery was fully restored in recent years and has only covered about 1000 miles since. It now sits on a new Spyder chassis with side intrusion bars and double wishbones front and rear. The adjustable dampers and solid driveshafts were supplied by Tony Thompson Racing. The engine was rebuilt with a big valve cylinder head and sprint cams. The headlamps now operate with electric motors instead of the somewhat temperamental vacuum pods.
